Decision of the management of the EU in Bratislava on the current flood situation

On Sunday 15 September 2024 at 16.00, an extraordinary meeting of the management of the UE in Bratislava and the deans of the faculties in Bratislava was held. At this extraordinary meeting, they discussed the current situation caused by heavy rainfall and strong winds and the resulting restrictions in individual locations in Slovakia.

For this reason, the management of the UE in Bratislava and the deans of the Bratislava faculties decided:

  • to start classes in the winter semester of the academic year 2024/2025 for full-time students of the Bratislava faculties (NHF, OF, FHI, FPM, FMV and FAJ) only on Monday 23 September 2024 according to the timetable,
  • the postponement of classes in the winter semester of the academic year 2024/2025 for full-time students of the Bratislava faculties (NHF, OF, FHI, FPM, FMV and FAJ) until 20.12.2024,
  • on the teaching of external studies according to the original teaching schedule,
  • the postponement of the opening ceremony of the academic year 2024/2025 from 16 September 2024 to Monday 23 September 2024 at 10.00 a.m. in the EU Auditorium in Bratislava.
