The EIB Summer School, established by the European Investment Bank and the European Investment Fund, provides a development opportunity for a group of 80 master's students from across the European Union.
Since 2019, the EIB has pursued bold ambitions regarding climate action financing, aimed at supporting the European Green Deal and achieving carbon neutrality in Europe.
The 2026 EIB Summer School will enable 80 master's students—studying fields such as Finance, Business, Political Science (and related disciplines), Climatology and Sustainability, Urban Development, Development Studies, Law, and STEM (with practical experience or an interest in business applications)—to participate in a hybrid program (online and in-person) offering firsthand insights into the EIB Group's activities.
In line with its eight strategic priorities, the EIB Group supports projects that address global challenges, foster innovation, and build a sustainable and resilient future.
The academic program comprises online sessions, plenary lectures, and technical seminars across four tracks, focusing on the financial, policy, technical, or development aspects of the EIB Group's operations.
