Research Profile of the Department
In terms of the organisation of scientific research activities, research is carried out within the framework of institutional grants and VEGA grants, as well as through other research activities, e.g. in cooperation with various organisations.

In terms of content, the Department's research is and will continue to be oriented towards these areas:

research on organisational, economic, legislative, technical aspects of IS/IT implementation and operation,
approaches and possibilities of solutions, use of various means and technologies for specific tasks within IS/IT, e.g. CRM, SCM, e-business, business intelligence, etc.
use of e-learning applications in the pedagogical process,

market analyses and surveys of selected IS/IT products and services, their suppliers and users, with a focus on the business sphere,
analyses and surveys focusing on digital literacy of FPM students as well as other population in the Slovak Republic.
