The University of Economics in Bratislava, represented by Rector Prof. Ing. Ferdinand Daňo, PhD, and Agel SK a. s., represented by the Director of the Institute of Education, Science, and Research, PhDr., RNDr. Andrej Kováč, PhD, MPH, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
Representing Agel SK a. s. were Mgr. Katarína Blahová and Ing. Soňa Deglovičová; also present were the dean of the Faculty of Business Management at the University of Economics in Bratislava, doc. Ing. Anita Romanová, PhD., and, representing the University of the Third Age at the University of Economics in Bratislava, PaedDr. Janka Sebera Chládecká, PhD., MBA.
“I am pleased that, thanks to this memorandum, the cooperation between our university and your company will take on a concrete form. Our collaboration will focus on four areas: education for seniors, mutual consultations, promotional materials in the field of health, and professional cooperation in the preparation of theses and doctoral dissertations. I believe this collaboration will be mutually beneficial for both parties,” said Rector Prof. Ing. Ferdinand Daňo, PhD.
“We recognize the irreplaceable importance of science, innovation, education, and their connection to practice. The memorandum declares a deepening of our relations for the purpose of joint academic activities with the University of Economics in Bratislava. “The memorandum serves as a responsible platform for cooperation in the field of education and for efforts to increase economic and social benefits for our country,” added the director of the Institute of Education, Science, and Research, PhDr., RNDr. Andrej Kováč, PhD., MPH.
The aim of the memorandum is to provide mutual expert consultations and discussions, as well as to create conditions for the professional training of full-time students and extracurricular education for older students.
