The Faculty of Business Management at the University of Economics in Bratislava, in collaboration with its partner universities—Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Helsinki), ESIC Business & Marketing School (Madrid), and the University of Economics in Prague—organized the first edition of the international Blended Intensive Program (BIP) titled “Green and Sustainable Ecosystems in Business Management.”
Thirty students from countries such as Finland, Spain, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Egypt, India, Azerbaijan, Ecuador, Argentina, Peru, and Colombia participated in the program, including students from the Faculty of Business Management. During the intensive program, participants explored topics related to sustainability and innovative approaches to managing business ecosystems.
The program’s educational sessions featured guests from partner universities as well as experts from the business world. From ESIC University Madrid, Prof. Belén López Vázquez, who specializes in sustainability, social responsibility, and digital innovation, and Prof. Fernando García Monleón, who specializes in responsible entrepreneurship and strategic management, actively participated. Dr. Eeva Aarnio from Haaga-Helia University, an expert in the circular economy, climate-positive business development, and supply chain management, was actively involved.
The program also featured inspiring presentations by experts in ecosystem management with practical experience. Among the invited guests were Juraj Bocz from GREENOX and Peter Molnár from EY—both successful graduates of the University of Economics in Bratislava—who shared their experiences in the field of green innovation and sustainable business strategies with the participants.
Through this program, the Faculty of Business Management actively contributes to the internationalization of education and the strengthening of international cooperation in the fields of business and sustainable development.
