As part of the “Business Controlling” course, we are constantly striving to make the educational process more engaging for students at all three levels of study.
This is just one of the objectives, from the perspective of the form of education. The primary focus of the course coordinators from the Faculty of Business Management—as well as that of the course coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Ing. Mgr. Gabriela Dubcová, PhD, and co-instructor Ing. Ľubica Foltínová, PhD, is to provide practical reinforcement of knowledge and to verify the students’ acquired knowledge in cooperation with leading partner organizations. We conducted this practical component of the course (PC training) with 44 students on April 11 at the outstanding company SLOVNAFT, a.s., focusing on the following modules:
1. Strategy for the successful institutionalization of comprehensive corporate controlling
2. Design of performance evaluation systems for comprehensive corporate controlling
3. A comprehensive virtual tour of SLOVNAFT, a.s.’s production facilities, including a discussion centered on the key dimensions of comprehensive corporate controlling
4. Analysis and presentation of practical case studies on the topic of comprehensive corporate controlling
