Students, faculty, and distinguished guests gathered in the impressive EUBA Auditorium to jointly kick off the new academic year, which will be an exceptionally special one for the university.
Over the coming months, EUBA will mark the 85th anniversary of its founding with a series of events—an anniversary that deserves recognition.
The university rector, Prof. Ing. Ferdinand Daňo, PhD., delivered the commemorative address, in which he emphasized the significance of the 85th anniversary and recognized outstanding individuals from various faculties. They received awards for:
exceptional contributions to the development of education, science and research, sports,
lifelong learning,
and academic self-governance.
The rector also presented the EU Award in Bratislava for publishing achievements and for an extraordinary contribution to the development of science and research, as well as the Rector’s Award for Student Scientific Work, thereby highlighting the achievements and efforts of both students and faculty members.
At the Faculty of Business Management, the following colleagues were honored: Prof. Ing. Helena Majdúchová, CSc., Assoc. Prof. Ing. Mgr. Róbert Hanák, PhD., PhDr. Ing. Mária Barteková, PhD., RSc., and Ing. Katarína Procházková, PhD.
The Faculty of Business Management was represented at the event by the dean, Assoc. Prof. Ing. Anita Romanova, PhD.
