The EFAM 2025 Conference in Demänovská Valley provided a current academic perspective on the challenges facing business—from the energy sector to the real estate market and digital transformation.

We continued the tradition and once again created a space for discussions on the results of scientific research and innovations in the faculty’s academic programs. The EFAM 2025 conference took place in an attractive setting, with the participation of distinguished guests from the business world and academia. The conference topics reflected an academic perspective on current challenges in business and the management of strategic areas.

The international scientific conference, subtitled “Academic Perspectives on Business Foresight: Exploring the Future of Energy Management, Real Estate Business, and Digital Transformation,” focused on the future of management in the energy sector, cybersecurity, and professionalization in the real estate market.

The conference’s engaging content was enhanced by expert presentations from:

  • Ján Palenčár (NARKS) – Real Estate Management – Professionalization of the Real Estate Sector
  • Ivan Makatura (Makatura & Semančin) – Cyber Threats as a Risk of Digitalization
  • Rastislav Lauko – Infrastructure Asset Management – Foundations and Principles
  • Anton Beláň (FEI STU) – Do We Need Each Other!? – The Connection Between FPM EUBA and FEI STU

The event also featured presentations on the results of scientific research in areas such as digitization and innovative technologies; the circular economy; ecological principles in human resource management systems; support for organic farming; the creative industries; and competencies for interacting with technologies.

EFAM2025 was filled with valuable discussions and inspiration, beneficial for successful academic work and the prosperity of business practice.
