Every year, during the pre-Christmas season, it is customary for the Faculty of Business Management to organize a gathering of all members of the FPM EU academic community in Bratislava.
At a meeting of the Academic Community of the FPM EU in Bratislava, chaired by the President of the Academic Senate, Assoc. Prof. Ing. Mgr. Róbert Hanák, PhD., the Report on the Activities of the Academic Senate of the FPM EU in Bratislava for 2025 was presented, summarizing the educational, research, and administrative processes at the faculty.
The year 2025 was a challenging academic year, but it brought several significant milestones:
- the launch of a new professionally oriented study program, “Real Estate Management,” which was developed in response to the needs of the real estate market.
- Expansion of international cooperation—assumption of the presidency of the CIDD organization.
- Successful accreditation of new courses focused on energy and nuclear management.
- Organization of the international scientific conference “Academic Perspectives on Business
- Foresight: Exploring the Future of Energy Management, Real Estate Business, and Digital Transformation,” which addressed the future of management in the energy sector, cybersecurity, and professionalization in the real estate market.
- Receipt of the prestigious “Real Estate Personality 2025” award for the development of the academic and business spheres in the field of real estate management.
- Strengthening of project cooperation with international partners and expansion of the portfolio of projects under the Recovery Plan and the Interreg program.
- Development of hybrid education—implementation of new digital tools for interactive teaching as part of the NAWA project.
- The meeting also included a presentation of the faculty’s vision for 2026 by the dean, Assoc. Prof. Ing. Anita Romanová, PhD., who emphasized a focus on innovation.
This year saw an exceptionally high level of communication among students, faculty, international partners, and the business community. We organized new types of events that facilitated an intensive exchange of ideas and solutions for the development of academic-business collaboration.
Thank you all for your cooperation in 2025, and we wish you a peaceful Christmas! We look forward to new challenges in 2026.
