The Faculty of Business Management of the EU in Bratislava (FPM) has reopened its premises to all interested students.
Open Day 2026 brought a lively atmosphere, valuable information and the opportunity to learn about academic and professional study options at our faculty. High school students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the faculty environment, study programs and a wide range of employment opportunities for our graduates. The program included discussions about studies at all levels, information about the admissions process, foreign mobility and cooperation with companies and institutions in practice.
We are launching applications for new, unique study programs
During the Open Day, we also officially announced the launch of applications for several modernized, as well as new academically and professionally oriented study programs that respond to current trends in entrepreneurship, development and corporate implementation of technologies and people management.
Starting in the 2026/2027 academic year, students can also apply for programs that were developed in close cooperation with practice, foreign partners, and experts from various fields of management.
At the bachelor's level, students can choose from three study programs:
- Economics and Business Management (in Slovak or English) - academically oriented study program
- Economics and Management in Energy in Slovak - academically oriented study program
- Real Estate Management (full-time or part-time) - professionally oriented study program
Real Estate Management as a new, professionally oriented study program was created in close cooperation with the National Association of Real Estate Agencies of Slovakia (NARKS), represented by Ján Palenčár (President of NARKS) and Ing. Adriena Litomerická (Vice-President of NARKS). Thanks to their professional experience, the program accurately reflects the needs of the real estate market and combines academic education with the practical requirements of the profession. The program prepares graduates for practice during their studies and opens up employment in real estate agencies, development companies, banks or in property management.
At the second level of study, the Faculty expands the offer of engineering studies with two attractive energy programs with international reach:
- Economics and Management in Energy - a follow-up program focused on strategic management and economics of energy.
- Management in Nuclear - a program created in cooperation with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Slovak University of Technology, which uniquely combines economic, managerial and technical perspectives on nuclear energy. Graduates are prepared for specialized positions in energy, research, regulation or international organizations.
The highest interest among high school students was aroused by programs with an international dimension
High school students were particularly interested in study programs focused on information management and personnel management, as well as the opportunity to study at two universities simultaneously.
What aroused the greatest enthusiasm was clearly the prospect of gaining foreign study experience during their bachelor's studies - not only in the form of mobility, but also as a full-fledged student at a foreign partner university with a double degree.
The Double Degree program allows:
- to be a student of FPM and a foreign partner university at the same time,
- to complete half of your studies in Slovakia and half abroad,
- to obtain two university diplomas and thus a significant competitive advantage on the labor market.
These programs were one of the main attractions of the DOD – many high school students appreciated the opportunity not only to travel, but especially to gain real international experience, establish contacts abroad and prepare for a career in a global environment.

The energy of young people is our motivation
This year’s class brought an exceptionally positive atmosphere. High school students came with great interest, many questions and enormous energy. We believe that we will meet many of them again - as our students - in the 2026/2027 academic year.
