The Faculty of Business Management of the University of Economics in Bratislava offers the first professionally oriented study program in the field of real estate in Slovakia.
The real estate market is changing—and education must evolve alongside it. That is why the Faculty of Business Management at the University of Economics in Bratislava (EUBA) unveiled a new bachelor’s degree program, "Real Estate Management," at the 34th NARKS conference held at Šimák Castle in Pezinok; it is the first professionally oriented program of its kind in Slovakia.
At the event, organized by the National Association of Real Estate Agencies of Slovakia (NARKS), it was noted that the real estate sector today requires far more than just practical experience. The modern market demands professional expertise, analytical thinking, ethical standards, and data proficiency. The new program from the Faculty of Business Management at EUBA is the first in the country to address these needs.
The significance of this initiative is underscored by media interest; the program was featured on the TA3 news channel’s *Ekonomika+* program:

Graduates of the Real Estate Management program:
possess comprehensive knowledge of economics, law, marketing, and the technical aspects of real estate,
understand the functioning of the real estate market, pricing, investment opportunities, and legal processes related to the transfer, leasing, and management of properties,
master professional communication and digital tools used in real estate practice, and are able to assess the technical condition of buildings,
are prepared for careers in real estate brokerage, property management, development projects, or investment consulting.
This profile reflects the program's ambition to cultivate professionals capable of bringing professionalism, transparency, and expertise to the real estate sector.
The excellence and value of this study program are further underscored by the "Real Estate Market Personality of 2025" award—presented at the annual TA3 and NARKS conference—which was awarded to the faculty dean for the program's development. This award marks a significant step toward the professionalization of the real estate sector in Slovakia:
