A virtual tour and engaging lectures for the course “Sustainable Business Management” in collaboration with Slovenské elektrárne and Slovnaft.
As part of the course “Sustainable Business Management,” we are constantly striving to make the educational process more engaging for students at all three levels of study. This is just one of our goals in terms of the format of instruction. The primary focus of the course coordinators from the Faculty of Business Management at the University of Economics in Bratislava is to provide practical reinforcement of knowledge and to verify the acquired knowledge base in cooperation with leading partner organizations.
This practical component of the course was conducted with 67 students at two companies on April 10, 2026: Slovenské elektrárne, a. s., and Slovnaft, a. s., and focused on the following areas:
- Strategies for the successful institutionalization of comprehensive sustainable business management.
- Design of performance evaluation systems for comprehensive sustainable business management.
- A comprehensive virtual tour of the production facilities at Slovenské elektrárne, a.s. and Slovnaft, including a discussion centered on the key dimensions of comprehensive sustainable business management.
- Analysis of practical case studies on the topic of comprehensive sustainable business management.
Special thanks for the excellent preparation and execution go primarily to Róbert Jambrich (Manager of International Relations, European Affairs, and the Environment) and Roman Hudec (Specialist for School Partnerships, Employer Branding, and Talent Management), both from Slovenské elektrárne, a. s., as well as to Anton Molnár (Spokesperson and Director of Communications) and Zoltán Fodor (Central & IBS Finance Manager), both from SLOVNAFT a. s., and also to Peter Ďumbal from the B2B department at Generali for securing insurance coverage for the students.
