The Faculty of Business Management at the EUBA has officially become a Member School of the international Business Graduates Association (BGA) — and, at the same time, its 350th member school.
This symbolic milestone places the faculty within a growing community of business schools from around the world, united by a shared commitment to quality and the social responsibility of education.
BGA is more than just an association: it is a division of the Association of MBAs (AMBA), an international organisation headquartered in London, which was established back in 1967. AMBA ranks among the three most prestigious international accreditation authorities in management education (alongside EQUIS and AACSB), so membership of its network gives this step genuine international standing and credibility. BGA brings together institutions built on innovation in education, the development of responsible management and a positive impact on society. These values are not merely a declaration — BGA's criteria are inspired by the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which aligns closely with the Faculty of Business Management's own mission to educate responsible leaders. Membership also opens up a whole range of concrete opportunities for development. These include an annual consultancy review of study programmes, which helps the faculty continually reflect current trends in management education; access to AMBA & BGA international events and workshops; the opportunity to publish professional and research contributions in Business Impact Magazine; use of the BGA brand; and integration into a broader international network of business schools. The faculty will also be showcased through its own profile in the official BGA School Search directory.
Particularly attractive is the free membership available to students. Through it, they gain access to an international network of students and graduates, as well as services that genuinely ease the transition from study to professional life — from the Career Development Centre and CV-building tools to job-search resources and skills assessments. "Membership of the Business Graduates Association confirms that the faculty's commitment to internationalisation, quality and responsible management education is the right path. We see it both as a commitment and as an opportunity — above all for our students, who now gain access to an international community and new avenues for professional growth," said the Dean of the faculty, Anita Romanová.
We regard this milestone as an important step in the faculty's internationalisation and in strengthening the quality and social impact of our education. We intend to use our BGA membership not only to further develop our study programmes, but also to expand international collaboration for the benefit of our students, academic staff and partners in practice.
